How we put the
discipline to work.
Each strategy runs on rules set in advance, the same every time, with the emotion taken out. They share one idea: you do not always need to be invested.
Matched to your risk and your horizon.
We believe every strategy sits somewhere on a spectrum, from steady to aggressive. Where a client lands depends on their tolerance for risk and their time horizon.

RBID
Our Rules-Based Investment Discipline. This strategy watches the market and follows a defined set of rules. As conditions weaken, our investment committee looks to reduce exposure, and steps aside when the rules call for it. The core of how we manage risk.
Dividend Appreciation
An active strategy for investors who want to own individual stocks. It holds a basket of up to thirty household names, each paying a dividend of at least twice that of the S&P 500. A weekly scan keeps it weighted toward the strongest parts of the market, and every position carries a defined buy and sell discipline.
Hedging & income
Concentrated
Positions
For clients holding a large position in a single stock, often from years as an executive, with a low cost basis or selling restrictions. We manage around the position rather than force a sale, using defined options strategies to generate income and hedge the risk of holding so much in one name.
Octane
A concentrated, high-conviction strategy, unconstrained by sector or style, built around a smaller set of positions we believe have room for significant upside. Like everything we run, it follows rules, and holds to the same idea: step aside when the rules say so.

Sometimes the smartest position
is no position at all.
Every one of these is a rules-based process. They differ in what they hold and how they move, but they agree on the thing that matters most.
